I'm sure all Arashi fans have said at least once that they want to be like Ohno-kun. I thought that 4 months ago, I wished I could draw like him. But I've always been bad at drawing. Really, really bad. To be specific, I couldn't draw a proper circle.
Ohno-kun's drawing skills always impressed me. A few months ago, after watching O no Arashi, I suddenly wanted to do it too. That was the first time I felt motivated to draw. It's comparable to the first time I decided to learn Japanese. So I gave it a try. I bought all kinds of how-to-draw books, searched a lot about it on the internet and practiced when I had enough time. The first drawings were horrible! But I wanted to try harder. Well, to be honest, I still can't draw. But it has gotten much better than before. Who knows, maybe if I try harder, it might get better.
Then... I did something dumb. Here in Belgium, we have a famous art competition for young people. Well, I joined it. Next year in February, I have to appear before a jury. That means that I have to reach a certain level by that time.
I've drawn 21 drawings in 4 months. These are the last 4 drawings and they are in chronological order.

I've found a great hobby, I'm so grateful to Leader. Now I have a second goal. The first one is continuing my studies in Japan (which means I have to master Japanese within 2 years) and the second one is preparing myself for the art competition!
